Of Boxers and Skittles

A genius idea occurred to me today in the quest to get Hudson to leave his sutures alone.

I kept trying to think of something that we could put on him to cover his sutures.  A t-shirt would have worked for a front limb amputation, but I was drawing a blank for the rear leg...and then...it hit me.
 BOXER SHORTS!

The elastic helps to keep them around his waist, and his tail goes out the crotch flap.  (I tried to think of a less crass thing to call it, but that's what I've got.  Crotch flap.)  He's been meandering around the house all day in his Harley boxers.  He hasn't tried to take them off, and he has left his sutures alone, so far.  Fingers crossed!

I had to do some work from home stuff tonight, so I settled myself on my air mattress with my laptop and a handful of Skittles.  As if from nowhere, Hudson appeared and intently watched my progress with my Skittles.  Since I'm on the floor already, we're pretty much eye to eye.  I'm pretty strict about what my babies eat, so he didn't really have a prayer in hell...
But then he kept making this face, and he had his adorable little boxers on...

So he got ONE red Skittle, and was the happiest boy ever.
